**Team Leader
- Afternoon Shift**:
**(Full Time Vacany)**:
Hanes is recruiting for a permanent, full time Team Leader (classification level 4) position on Afternoon Shift. The successful applicant will rotate across various areas of the Distribution Centre as required.

**About the role**

We are looking for motivated individual with the ability to lead by example and drive team performance. To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:

- Maintain a safe working environment by following and promoting safety rules, guidelines, and work practices.
- Perform tasks independently and coordinate others with a positive approach that fosters teamwork.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and casual staff, providing support and managing workforce planning and workflow to maximise productivity.
- Lead the team to meet service expectations by delivering consistent, high-quality work and managing performance of staff.
- Report safety issues in HIIQA and participate in or assist with OHS investigations and audits.
- Maintain clear communication, accurate records, and attention to detail.
- Prepare and lead meetings to ensure effective communication across the site.
- Identify and escalate behavioural, safety or policy-related concerns.

Additionally, the successful applicants will have the following:

- Strong commitment to Safety and Quality.
- Strong People Skills: A proactive & positive approach to building morale and the ability to set priorities for a team to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Excellent Communication: Clear written & verbal communication with attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting abilities.
- Familiarity with working knowledge of the Hanes warehouse operation.
- Computer Literacy: Competent with relevant systems and tools.
- Fitness: Able to meet the physical demands and requirements of the role
