**About Us:*
Dash and the hound cafe is a vibrant and welcoming café that prides itself on delivering exceptional coffee and a delightful dining experience to our community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our café.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily operations of the café, ensuring a high standard of service and quality.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
- Handle financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Create and maintain a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Develop and promote seasonal menus and special promotions to attract customers.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in café management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes.
- Passion for coffee and food, with a creative approach to menu development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
