YK Education is hiring an operations manager.

This is a long-term role and we expect the role to grow with the business.

The role is two days per week initially on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30am - 7:30pm

**Responsibilities**

**Teaching 3:30pm-7:30pm**
- Teach Maths or English up to NSW Year 12 Advanced level. Resources provided.

**Administration 11:30am-3:30pm**
- Assist tutors in making decisions about student programs/lessons to maximise individual students' results (e.g. Come up with the most effective and efficient three-lesson program to prepare for the assessment)
- Handle calendars and diaries
- Coordinate tutors' absences and follow up for record-keeping
- Update and organise teaching resource files to assist tutors
- Organise events at the centre to develop YK-community
- Provide ad hoc support around the office as needed

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Teaching experience in NSW high schools

**Remuneration**
- $80,000 p.a. including superannuation (pro-rata at 2 days per week)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Spread out in 120sqm office

We use a mix of online and offline teaching to encourage students and instructors to stay at home when they are sick

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney North Shore NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
