Working with a Big 4 bank s a **Solution Designer**, you will be involved in assisting solution design, develop, modify, document, and validate the most appropriate and fit for purpose business solutions working with a range of stakeholders, ensuring that customer solutions are designed for maximum re-use and industry best practice.

**Role including but not limited to**:

- Work with an agile team to help deliver worldclass solutions
- Work closely with BAs withing the team and close communication with product owners
- Produce design artefacts at architectural and low level for the team to deliver
- Management of stories including acceptance criteria in automated testing language (such as cucumber)
- SME across your particular product area, providing input for the delivery team and the business product owners
- Use API testing tools to ensure APIs are aligned to design
- Produce design documentation and updating as required
- Write splunk queries / dashboards / alerts to better understand and maintain your product area

**Requirements**:

- Solid record of designing of Cloud technologies, patterns, and architecture (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
- Proven record of observable cloud implementations from inception to production.
- Strong understanding of Cloud networking and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure level - VPCs, networks, GKE, Big Query, CloudSQL

This contract role with an AFR winner of best places to work, pays an excellent day rate.

**Job Type**: Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $950.00 per day
