**About The Role**

We are seeking experienced Theatre Technician professionals to join our wonderful team. Within this position you will work as a member of the perioperative team by supporting and supervising theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures.

At Waverley Private Hospital, we have 7 operating theatres, offering a diverse caseload, with specialties including but not limited to orthopaedics, plastics, ENT, general surgery, breast and endocrine, gynaecological, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oral & maxillofacial surgery, pain management and vascular surgery.

**Your Skills and Experiences**
- Two years minimum experience within an operating theatre essential.
- Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent will also be essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a diverse team
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role.

**Remuneration**:On offer is an hourly rate ranging from **$32.88 - $38.04** + superannuation based on experience and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Waverley Private Hospital has been an active contributor to the healthcare needs of the local communities of Eastern and South Eastern Melbourne since 1972. We pride ourselves on providing excellent standards of healthcare in a friendly and caring environment.**At Waverley Private Hospital we have seven operating theatres including a Day Procedure Unit.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
