**Job Title**: Strength and Conditioning Coach

**Location**: S&C Recovery Lab - Hornsby

**Reports To**: Head Coach / Gym Manager

S&C Recovery Lab is a performance-focused training facility dedicated to helping athletes and everyday individuals move better, get stronger, and recover faster. We combine evidence-based strength and conditioning methods with modern recovery and mobility practices to help our members perform at their best—whether in sport, fitness, or daily life.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, deliver, and monitor individual and group strength and conditioning sessions.
- Coach members through proper exercise technique, form, and progression.
- Conduct performance testing, movement assessments, and fitness evaluations.
- Create tailored training programs aligned with athletes’ goals and sports demands.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other professionals to support injury rehab and prevention programs.
- Contribute to a positive gym culture that promotes health, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Track client progress and adjust programs as needed.
- Assist in community events, workshops, and online training initiatives through our app.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field (or equivalent qualification).
- ASCA (Australian Strength & Conditioning Association) accreditation - Level 1 minimum.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with athletes or general population clients in a gym or sports setting.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with youth athlete development or return-to-sport programming.
- Knowledge of mobility, recovery, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Familiarity with performance tracking technology and software.
- Interest in contributing to social media or educational content creation.
