Mandurah, Australia Fresh Produce Group Full time

**About us**

Fresh Produce Group Western Australia have a number of horticulture roles available across our table grape and asparagus farms. We have farms located in Hamel, Meelon and Broome, as well as packing sheds located in the Perth and Peel regions. The roles will be based at our Kimberley Asparagus farm, Kimberley Table Grapes farm, and Fruitico farms.

**Production Horticulturalist/Production Horticulture Supervisor**
We are looking for Production Horticulturalists and Production Horticulture Supervisors to join our farming teams. The key responsibilities are:

- Work with the Farm Managers to ensure all operations are efficiently and successfully carried out to horticultural standards.
- Organise and manage work programs including irrigation, soil monitoring and pest programs.
- Supervise farm labour, including directly employed, contract and seasonal workforces.

Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000

**Horticulture Grower**
We are looking for Horticulture Growers to join our farming teams. The key responsibilities are:

- Work with the Farm Managers to organise and conduct farming operations, as well as to plan and coordinate the production and marketing of crops.
- Maintain crop production by cultivating, de-budding and pruning, and maintaining optimal growing conditions.
- Oversee general farming activities such as fertilising and pest and weed control.
- General farm maintenance as required.
- Record maintenance as required.

Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000

**Horticulture Section Manager**
We are looking for Horticulture Section Managers to join our farming teams. The key responsibilities are:

- Liaise with the Farm Managers, Agronomists and Production Horticulturalists as required.
- Ensure that seeding, planting, grading and picking of the crop meets specification.
- Ensure that seed stock, levels and usage are managed as per company procedures.
- Ensure that all seeding equipment is maintain as per procedures.
- Coordinate farm labour, including directly employed, contract and seasonal workforces.
- Maintain records and label crops as required.

Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000

**Section Supervisor**
We are looking for Section Supervisors to join our farming teams. The key responsibilities are:

- Liaise with the Farm Managers, Agronomists and Production Horticulturalists as required.
- Ensure that crop treatments are carried out as per established procedures.
- Oversee section to ensure that grading and picking are carried out as per company procedures.
- Monitor operations to ensure work quality.
- Supervise farm labour, including directly employed, contract and seasonal workforces.
- General farm maintenance as required.

Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000

**About you**
- Prior experience managing, leading or supervising on a horticulture farm, including experience in overseeing labour, growing, irrigation, and working to financial outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a team.
- A strong drive to achieve and a passion for farming.
- A background in agronomy, irrigation, table grapes, or asparagus will be highly regarded.
- Prior experience operating a tractor and other farm machinery will be highly regarded.
- Comprehensive knowledge of horticulture practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both in teams and independently.
