We are currently looking for a Payroll Officer with experience in using MicroPay software to join our client in their office in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, as Payroll Officer you will in charged in the end to end payroll process for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring the operational aspects of payroll are compliant, completed accurately and delivered within required timeframes. You will also be part of a payroll team around seven people in your team and you are all looking after your own payroll. You are responsible for your own entity.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- In this end to end role, reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will become a vital cog in a high performing and very hands on Payroll team in a fast-paced environment.
- The position will entail assisting the current team with payroll processing/reconciling, and address payroll queries within required deadlines.
- You will support the Payroll Manager and provide a high level of service to key stakeholders and ensure staff are paid on time.
**Job Requirements**
- Must have 3+ years of payroll experience
- Need to have 2+ years of experience using Micropay software
- Experience processing end-to-end payroll for employees
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience reporting on statutory deductions and contributions including payroll tax and super is beneficial but not essential
- High level organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage work with attention to detail.
- Having experience with ConnX would be of great advantage
