About the Role

Due to continual growth we are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Fruit and Vegetable Customer Service Assistants to join our team. We are looking for employees who pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service, are hard working, have exceptional communication skills and have a passion for quality and ensuring store presentation is of the highest quality.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Store preparation, cutting and wrapping, fruit and vegetable merchandising, opening/closing
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and ability to provide friendly and professional customer assistance and information
- Stock management, refrigerating stock, stocktaking, prep for next day and general upkeep and cleaning of work areas

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

- Sound knowledge and/or previous experience with fresh fruit and vegetables
- Friendly, approachable and well presented
- Physically fit with ability to lift reasonable weight safely
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to work flexible hours over 7 days and extended trading hours
- Previous management experience will be highly regarded
- Must be able to work minimum 20 hours
- Must be available from 5am
