**About the role**:
Register your interest in becoming a Food Service Attendant across our South Tasmanian sites.

Support Food Service delivery at Uniting AgeWell** **by providing a service in accordance with the current planned menu and requirements of the Food Safety Program, that supports and enhances resident’s individual needs and wellbeing.

Tasks include:

- Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas
- **ENTER ROSTERED HOURS HERE IF APPLICABLE**:

- Serving residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitors
- Provide feedback regarding residents’ likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escalate any observations or concerns in residents conditions
- Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise

**About you**:

- Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care setting
- **Have availability to work either 7am-3pm or 3.30pm-7.30pm edit as required for perm/casual job vacancy**:

- Can work at a fast pace as part of a team
- Are experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of service
- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

**Essentials for working in Aged Care**:

- A current Working With Vulnerable People card
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
