This global business is a world leading manufacturer of mission critical two-way radio and wireless communications technology. For decades they have been the selected partner and relied on supplier to the transport, security, public safety, emergency services, mining, oil and gas markets, amongst many others.

They are pioneering new technology within the industry, and they continue to set the pace when it comes to remote site, wireless communications technology.

The Australian team is dynamic, nimble and growing rapidly through a dealer channel model. They have partnerships nationwide with leading integrators who continue to grow the brands market share in this APAC region.

**Position**

The role of **Country Manager** is now available.

Based out of the Melbourne office you will be responsible for the complete management of the Australian team which is made up of account managers, and pre-sales engineers.

Essentially you are inheriting a very successful team that is very established with good longevity and a consistent track record of achieving targets in this region. Your role is to ensure the continued success, as well as build upon this success through further development of new markets, new channels, further engagement with end users and an overall up lift the market presence in the APAC region.

The role reports to the Global Sales Director and ultimately you will be responsible for all activities, including the P/L for Australia.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a global powerhouse as head of Australia in a time where there is a real push for growth and expansion.

On offer is a generous salary package, that would see packaged earnings over $250k p.a.

**Required Criteria**

It is also essential to have a proven track record of sales performance within the industry, with exposure to dealing with end user customers, as well as dealer/integrators.

Prior management experience at a state or national level would be preferred, however the role is also open to a senior sales professional looking to take the next step in their career.

Self-drive and motivation, ambition, relationship management skills and an ability to lead from the front are all essential traits needed for the position.
