**A growing NDIS SIL-approved provider is seeking an experienced intake officer.**
As the **Intake and Assessment Officer**, you will establish relationships with a network of NDIS Support Coordinators, NDIS intermediaries and other client’s advocates. Aiming to meet eligible NDIS client’s need by matching them to a suitable SIL accommodation.
the Intake and Assessment Officer will manage SIL accommodation vacancies within our properties by sourcing suitable clients, manage referrals, undertake the initial client’s assessment, work together with the participate, care manager or family throughout the allocation processes and signed service agreement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to.
- Working within a great multi-disciplinary team facilitating our clients to access appropriate SIL accommodation and supports services in a timely manner
- Advocating and assisting our clients and their families to navigate the NDIS system.
- Working with multiple IT systems to manage client enquires and referrals
- Being the first point of contact for new client referrals and enquiries.
- Gathering information, reading and interpreting client NDIS plans to assess the client’s care needs, funding and suitability, to one of our vacancies.
- Organising property inspection for the client and determining whether we can offer an accommodation for the participant and sending a letter of offer as needed.
- Working closely with our Finance team to ensure correct data entry into client files.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Intake and Assessment Officer in NDIS SIL: 2 years (preferred)
