**Position**: Maintenance Assistant

**Location**: Ballina, servicing Northern NSW

**Salary**: $70,000 + opportunity for overtime and on-call allowances

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Are you a hands-on tradie or labourer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in building, trades, or maintenance roles and enjoy keeping things running smoothly? We’re on the hunt for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team, supporting retail sites such as service stations and bakeries.

**About the Role**

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for:

- General Maintenance: Fixing, repairing, and improving site facilities.
- Preventative Maintenance: Identifying and resolving potential issues before they become problems.
- Site Upkeep: Ensuring all sites meet our high standards of presentation and safety.

This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done across multiple sites.

**What We’re Looking For**

Experience in a building trade, maintenance, or similar hands-on role.

Previous work on job sites (construction, retail maintenance, etc.).

A proactive, can-do attitude—someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Basic problem-solving and organisational skills.

A current clean driver’s license (essential).
