**The Role**

As a Draftsperson, you are primarily responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of drawings, with a solid understanding of contract documentation, preconstruction procedures, construction techniques and all statutory and compliance requirements.

Further duties and responsibilities will include:

- Completing working drawings, pre-start drawings and variations in accordance with customer, construction, statutory and compliance requirements
- Undertake continuous improvement initiatives with the drafting team/business stakeholders
- Liaising with external business stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Consulting with other business departments, providing technical advice and assistance to achieve business objectives

**You (Key Selection Criteria)**

To be considered for this role you are required to have a demonstrated ability in the following skills and attributes:

- Minimum of Cert IV in Residential Drafting
- Experience using ArchiCAD 22 and/or ArchiCAD 24
- Strong knowledge of the R-Codes, RMD Codes and Shire policies.
- Time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good construction knowledge
- 2-3 years’ experience will be highly regarded
