We are one of Australia's largest independently owned fuel retail businesses with a strong presence in Victoria and New South Wales. Established in 1989 the organization has spent over three decades focused on delivering quality fuel and consumer products with the highest standard of customer service.

We have a strong association with **Carl's Jnr** and are in a period of significant growth and expansion.

The company is in search of an outstanding manager to take control of our newly opened store located in the Bathurst area. Amongst other things, the store offers freshly made barista coffee as well as other ready to eat meals.

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, hands-on attitude and demonstrate initiative and determination to make things happen while delivering outstanding customer service and results. Our managers are our frontline experts, who have intimate knowledge of every part of site-level operations. They provide practical guidance and support daily, with a true sense of responsibility and care for their teams and the business. A positive attitude and a desire to go above and beyond will see you thrive in our fast-paced retail environment. Previous café and barista experience will be highly regarded along with face-to-face customer service experience.

This is very much a _hands-on_ position not an office job. Furthermore, no two days are the same, so you'll need to be comfortable with change and dynamic enough to deal with any challenge.

To meet the demands of this challenging role you will have proven experience of at least 2+ years in retail leadership, preferably in the petroleum industry.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with store management experience to progress their career within an ever-growing company.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Driving site sales, expenses, profitability, and meeting KPIs.
- Adherence to strict store level accounting processes.
- Contributing to all aspects of site operations, including and not limited to, serving customers, merchandising and stock management, promotions and maintaining store standards.
- Motivating, training, and developing site staff.
- Ordering and maintaining balanced stock levels.
- Managing staff planning and rostering.

**What's in it for you?**

Salary package of $74,476k salary package (Inclusive of superannuation and potential bonuses). **There will be an initial training period of at least 3 months with a reduced salary to verify your suitability.**
- 40 hours per week contract.
