**The Business**

CSG Talent is once again working with one of our valued engineering partners to assist in finding a talented civil designer for their Sydney team.

This major civil engineering consultancy has established offices in every state in Australia. They boast a strong reputation within the New South Wales market and are very successful working on large transport infrastructure projects and sizeable urban developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a designer or senior designer who may be looking for a business that will invest in them with internal and external training, and provide excellent mentors to learn and seek guidance from.

**The Role**

As the civil designer, you will report to the senior engineer and work alongside them to produce designs in 12D for projects across New South Wales and Australia. Dependent on your experience and motivations, this role would be placed in either the transport infrastructure or urban development teams.

**Civil Designer Duties**
- Work alongside senior designers/civil engineers to prepare designs for construction
- 12D design for major transport infrastructure or urban Development
- Designs for tender
- Liaising with client stakeholders on design
- Taking part in design reviews
- Design for road, rail, stormwater drainage and sewer network design

**Civil Designer Qualifications & Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years within a civil design role
- Strong ability with software: 12D, PC Drain, PC Sewer & AutoCAD
- Experience with road & highway design, rail projects, stormwater drainage design, and sewer network design
- Worked with or an understanding of TfNSW
