**Now Hiring Experienced Store Manager (Full time)**

Bedshed is Australia’s leading bedding specialist in Canberra and we are keen to hire passionate and enthusiastic staff to join our dedicated team. There is opportunity to grow with the store. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a motivated and driven team.

A demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets is preferred, as well as an understanding for the need to deliver superior customer service.

You will also have an experience or interest in selling home-wares and bedding and enjoy leading a team.

You will ideally possess the following:

- Retail experience in bulky goods or big ticket items
- Attention to detail
- Exceptionally high standards of customer service
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills in handling difficult customers
- Ability to manage paperwork and administrative tasks
- Face-to-face and phone customer service
- Operating point of sale system
- Receipting and putting away stock
- Maintenance of Showroom displays, including building of furniture
- Oversight of warehouse operations
- Stock control and Management
- Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decision to ensure happy customers and timely accurate service.
- Deal with warranty issues

You will be responsible for;
- Managing and training your team to success
- Stock management and customer service

- Manage team
- Have above average computer skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work all retail hours including most weekends and selected shifts during the week as required
- Your own reliable transport
- The ability to identify customer needs and build relationships in a short period of time
- A professional approach and appearance
- Good understanding of OH&S procedures
