Accounts Payable Officer

**Part Time 0.6 FTE to 0.8 FTE**

**6-month Fixed Term contract**
- Assisting the Accounting functions of Alwyndor
- Good working knowledge of NFP Aged Care sector desirable

**Alwyndor** is looking for a dynamic and high performing **Accounts Payable officer** to join the team based at our modern facility and beautiful grounds in the seaside suburb of Hove.

**Alwyndor** is operated by the City of Holdfast Bay in its capacity as Trustee of the Dorothy Cheater Trust. We deliver on-site residential care as well as a broad range of community and Allied Health services in a modern and integrated organisation.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer will work as part of a high performing Finance team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform reconciliations of supplier statements
- Accept and respond to internal/external enquiries as appropriate
- Liaise with other Finance team members to ensure organisation and team goals are met
- Use technology to efficiently and effectively manage work priorities and commitments
- Proactive in resolving issues
- Delivering Accounts Payable tasks in a timely and accurate manner

**Required Skill and Attributes**:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Accounts Payable involving high level of accurate invoice processing
- Experience in book keeping and other administrative tasks
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, in particular Outlook
- Works well in a team and independently
- Good attention to detail, efficiency, and effectiveness
