**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience in Motion design related to physics, patterns, and visual design elements.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
- 2 years of experience leading design projects or 1 year of experience working with executive leaders.
- Experience using motion to reduce perceived latency.
- Understanding of basic principles of animation, and experience with using animation tools (e.g., After Effects or similar).
- Ability to fuse creativity and code to deliver cutting edge interactions, using motion to a narrative effect and understanding the future of interactive motion.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
**Responsibilities**:
- Define and implement the Google products through motion design.
- Collaborate with the Material Design Motion team and Android Motion team to make sure motion design style and quality are aligned.
- Create high quality design proposals and drive projects from concept to iterations and implementation.
- Provide patterns, exceptional practices and guidance on animation and transitions for different devices (such as TV, tablets, wearable, mobile, etc.) and platforms (such as web, Android, iOS, etc.).
