- $**67,642** pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 3 of the EBA5
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Caboolture

**About the role**

Join our Roads and Drains team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining our community's civil and transport infrastructure. Working closely with a crew leader, you'll be at the **forefront of operational maintenance** of Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your designated area remains **safe, tidy, and defect-free**. Some of the tasks include:

- installing and replacing road signs
- pathways, kerb and channel repairs
- replacing manholes
- conducting fence repairs
- replacing lintels and grates
- repairing headwalls
- clearing open drains
- fixing traffic island defects.

Your work will directly contribute to the upkeep of our civil and transport infrastructure, making a tangible difference in our community's safety and appearance. **About you**

Ideally you will have **recent experience performing labouring tasks** related to maintaining infrastructure similar to what is listed above. We are seeking applicants who demonstrate:

- knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
- recent experience in a manual position
- experience maintaining similar infrastructure/performing similar tasks (desirable)
- excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- a current truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid)
- a Construction Induction Card
