The position provides support to the Landfill Services Supervisor in the day to day management of the Recycle/Transfer Station. The individual will supervise the Recycle/Transfer Station Plant Operator/Labourers to ensure the team delivers an effective service to customers and ensuring compliance with all safety systems.
- Highly developed skills and extensive experience in the operation of heavy construction plant including track loaders, waste compactors and excavators including a working knowledge of plant maintenance practices
- Sound knowledge of waste and landfill operational requirements
- Developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees and customers
- Demonstrated substantial experience in landfill operations
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team
- Current and valid ‘HR’ class driver’s licence
- Relevant plant operator tickets
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)

This position offers a gross salary of **$95,537** which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, and:

- 11.5% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programmes including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
- Five weeks’ annual leave and two additional paid days of absence per annum
