These are fulltime positions. As an apprentice you will undertake a 4 year training contract (Certificate 3 in Engineering Fabrication) where you will learn on the job to become a qualified Boilermaker.

Working as a Boilermaker you will produce metal fabricated products with various metal materials. Using a range of hand and power tools.

You may also undertake the following:

- Interpret technical drawing
- Perform engineering measurements
- Use of power tools/ hand held operations
- Assemble fabricated components, Fabrication of metalwork
- Welding using gas metal arc welding process
- Machining and machine fabrication from workshop drawings through to installation

To be considered for a apprenticeship the following is required:

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be a hard worker
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
- Hold a current White card

**Salary**: $35,839.58 - $80,417.18 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
