Beverages Production Operator

This is not your ordinary Machine Operator role. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals with a passion for self-development and an ‘In It Together’ approach. The Tetra 1L Beverages Department at Berkeley Vale are responsible for making some of Australia’s most beloved plant-based milks, including So Good and The, Alternative Dairy Co. and our newest addition Plantwell. As a UHT Operator, you will be responsible for the mixing and heat treating of batches (UHT stands for ‘Ultra Heat Treated’). You’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products that change lives every day. Reporting to the Senior Team Leader on shift, this role is currently required on our Afternoon Shift, which operates from 3pm-11pm Monday-Thursday, and 10am-4pm on a Friday. Although it is highly regarded, no prior UHT or Tetra experience is required.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate activities with other Beverage’s areas for efficient and continuous operations.
- Move product and mix batches as per the production plan.
- Monitor the UHT process and check for any leaks or issues.
- Send treated batches to the correct filling machine.
- Record data as required and undertake product and quality testing.
- Clean and maintain hygiene in the UHT area.
- Take part in continuous improvement activities.

**The successful applicant will also have the following skills and experience**:

- Forklift License.
- Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks in a constructive manner.
- Ability to analyse information and make decisions accordingly.
- Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
