A highly commercial role, you will have a sound understanding of the retail / eCommerce industry, regularly assessing market conditions and pricing policies. This role will focus on analysis of inventory levels, portfolio health and margin objectives and support the successful suggestion of pricing & promotional recommendations to maintain sustained growth and market competitiveness.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Supporting our Category Managers make informed decisions regarding pricing, margin and promotional decisions, through regular and ad hoc reviews and analysis
- Reviewing and executing on promotional updates consistent with product selections and prices proposed by Category Managers
- Running regular department-wide pricing reviews, including maintaining price changes and updates
- Planning and coordinating category and product specific promotions and monitoring the performance of promotional activity, including reporting and recommendations
- When required, facilitating training to internal staff on pricing policies, systems and processes

**To be successful in this role, you should be**:

- University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business or similar)
- Experienced working in a similar role, with a highly analytical and commercial focus, ideally in a Retail / eCommerce / FMCG environment
- Have a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, through exceptional communication and engagement
- Highly analytical and possess commercial nous, being able to recognise opportunity and make quick decisions for the best commercial outcomes, so that we can offer market-leading pricing to our customers
- Highly confident and able to perform at an advanced level with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets - we will test your abilities here
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Being agile and adaptable is key to success
- Inquisitive and ready to be challenged - we're not afraid of putting in hard work to deliver an outstanding result
