Cybersecurity Assessor, Holding Baseline Clearance, $900-1000 +Super p/d, Sydney, 12-months

**Your new company**

Your new position will be within one of the leading federal government agency. The organisation is currently embarking on a cybersecurity uplift program and requires resource to assist with this program of work.

**Your new role**

As a Security Assessor you will be responsible for undertaking cybersecurity assessments and providing advice to the organisation in order to improve security posture. As a security SME knowledge and comprehensive understanding of security assessment methodologies and frameworks, will focus to developed SSP and SRMP, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As well as in-depth understanding of cyber technologies, policies and principals you will be required to possess the following skills/experience:

- Valid Baseline clearance is essential to be considered for the role
- Demonstrated experience assessing Essential Eight and ISM
- Experience in developing SSP,SRMP
- Well-developed skills and experience across cybersecurity to guide and mentor the team
- Demonstrate ability to do documentation and presentation to stakeholders

**What you'll get in return**

You will be rewarded with a 12-month contract and a very attractive daily rate with one of the leading Federal government institutes with a possibility of extension. This role will offer the possibility of flexible work and may have occasional travel.
