**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for an experienced childcare professional to lead our Yarrabilba OSHC program.

As the Leader of the program you will:

- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of the children in our care.
- Be focused on building meaningful relationships with all families, children and the broader school community.
- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the daily routines, menus and programs.
- Be creative in your approach to engaging children in activities that extend upon their learnings and capture their imagination to foster a fun and wonder filled time at OSHC.
- Have a passion for working with children and supporting their families balance family life.

**This is a permanent full-time role 38 hours per week** **which will include split shifts during term time.**

**The operating hours of the service are**:

- 6.00am to 9.00am for before school care
- 2.00pm to 6.00pm for after school care
- 6.00am to 6.00pm during vacation care

**The successful applicant must possess**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership position working in OSHC or Long Day Care
- Hold a Diploma level or above ACECQA approved qualification (Diploma in Children's Services, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Graduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Education)
- Hold a current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain;
- Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
