**Credentialing & Administration Assistant**

**Warringal Private Hospital, Heidelberg**

**Part Time Opportunity**

The role is 19 hours per week, ideally across 3-4 days, with flexibility around start/finish times.
- The role is primarily responsible for the credentialing of (new and re-accrediting) Visiting Medical Officers and Allied Health Professionals via Equifax.
- This includes review of qualifications, insurance, mandatory training requirements and reference checking, along with annual collection of ongoing requirements (insurance, vaccination evidence etc).
- Reporting to the Executive Assistant and overseen by the CEO, the role requires a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality, and works closely with our Specialists, the wider Executive Team and Medical Advisory Committee.

**The Position**
- This role will provide support to the Executive team and ensure professional administrative secretarial services are available in order to achieve organisational goals and excellence in service delivery.
- A thorough understanding of the importance of being able to protect the integrity and confidentiality of information across the responsibilities is also required of the role.
- Other responsibilities include creation of staff ID's and adhoc admin support to the Executive Office.

Application of technical skills in the following areas will be necessary:

- Effectively and efficiently liaise with all levels of staff, management, accredited practitioners and external organisations
- Prepare, format and deliver documents to the appropriate parties as directed by the relevant Executive member/s
- Ensure the maintenance of Visiting Medical Officers and Health Professionals e-files in relation to Credentialing and granting of Medical Privileges.
- Liaise with VMO’s for patient outsourcing coordination
- Calendar management, meetings coordination, inquires management and other general office duties

**About You**
- Display high-level organisational and administrative skills, including excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative position including the preparation of minutes and formal documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes, in an environment of competing priorities.

Applicants with experience in the health services industry and in hospital systems (i.e.: meditech, mercury) will be highly regarded.

**Remuneration** : $27.85 - $28.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
