**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the General Manager this role will focus on helping to grow the Events in this property.

This is a supporting role to an experienced Functions Manager or Sales Manager, taking the lead with the finer details the lead to a smooth and flawless event execution.

The role is suited to a hospitality professional looking to kick start their career in a slightly different direction, someone who has an appetite for event and career progression.

You will help manage the inbound end to end process for all events, you to have an excellent level of knowledge with the venue products, packages & capacities.

We want to connect with applicants that have positive energy levels, present as solutions focused, and have excellent communication skills that will win over relationships.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous hospitality sales experience is essential - no matter the level we want to connect
- A professional who has standout customer service and account management skills
- Solutions focused leader on a technical and emotional level
- Immaculate presentation General Manager and where needed other department managers
- Upbeat personality, excellent people skills, and well mannered professional who understands how to connect with people on all levels -_ from entry level employees to dealing with CEO clients_
