Job Title**:Delivery Driver - 6PLT Truck**

Location**:Melbourne West side**

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Driver.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to their destinations.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including local, state, and federal requirements.
3. Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.
6. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required.
7. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and maintenance.
8. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
9. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Prior experience as a driver preferred but not required.
3. Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
6. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
7. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a vehicle for long distances.
2. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
3. Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $26.00 - $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
