Removalist Drivers

We are currently seeking **Removalist Drivers** and **Helpers** to join our dynamic team. As part of the Delivery Plus team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients move their belongings with efficiency, safety, and professionalism. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring excellent service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**For Removalist Drivers**:

- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to and from client locations.
- Ensure that all items are securely loaded and unloaded, paying close attention to proper handling techniques.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

**For Removalist Helpers**:

- Assist the driver in loading and unloading furniture and personal belongings.
- Safely lift, carry, and move heavy items as required, ensuring items are not damaged during the move.
- Wrap, pack, and protect fragile items using high-quality packing materials (e.g., bubble wrap, moving blankets).
- Ensure the moving truck is organized and all items are secured.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client questions or concerns during the move.

**Key Requirements**:
**For Removalist Drivers**:

- Valid **HR/MR (Heavy Rigid/Medium Rigid) Driver’s License**.
- Previous experience driving heavy vehicles or removalist trucks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and local traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy items and handle physical demands of the role.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work weekends if necessary.

**For Removalist Helpers**:

- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy furniture and other belongings.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and flexible hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
