**About the Role**

We’re looking for dedicated and flexible Support Workers to help empower our young clients (primarily under 16) in South Brisbane. Our clients may have physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, and they need someone reliable, consistent, and compassionate to help them navigate their world.

This role isn’t just about assisting with daily tasks, creating meaningful experiences and helping young people build confidence, independence, and joy.

**Your Quest (Key Responsibilities)**
- **Support and Empower** - Provide personalised, person-centred care to individuals with disabilities, fostering independence and inclusion.
- **Be Flexible and Adaptable** - Support work isn’t always predictable We need someone who can think on their feet and adjust plans as needed.
- **Assist with Daily Activities** - Help with meal prep, personal hygiene, household tasks, yard work, and general life skills.
- **Be a Transporting Legend** - Have access to a reliable vehicle to assist clients in getting to appointments, activities, and community outings.
- **Communicate with Compassion** - Work collaboratively with our team to ensure clients receive the best care possible.
- **Keep Records Accurate** - Document client interactions and progress with attention to detail.
- **Navigate Complex Needs** - Provide respectful and dignified support for clients with diverse psychosocial and behavioural challenges.

**Your Character Sheet (Requirements)**
- A heart full of compassion and a passion for disability support work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Must Have**: Yellow Card, Blue Card, valid driver’s licence, and comprehensive car insurance**Must Have**: Access to a reliable car for transporting clients**Preferred**: First Aid & CPR certifications (we can assist if you don’t have them yet)
