Position: ICT Security Specialist:
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Manage Database Systems:

- Develop and maintain secure database architecture, including data tables, structures, and dictionaries.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all master files and data systems.

Backup and Recovery Systems:

- Oversee the operational setup, management, and regular testing of backup systems and data recovery processes.
- Ensure that data integrity is maintained during backups, system restores, and disaster recovery scenarios.

Database Policies and Procedure Implementation:

- Establish and enforce operational standards, policies, and procedures for database management and security.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security and data integrity standards across the organization.

Testing, Troubleshooting, and Issue Resolution:

- Conduct thorough testing of database systems and updates, identifying and troubleshooting bugs, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
- Use debugging tools to reproduce and resolve problems, adhering to established QA procedures.

IT Security and Business Continuity Planning:

- Develop and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats.
- Design and implement business continuity strategies, ensuring that systems remain operational during disruptions or disasters.

Vendor and Service Provider Liaison:

- Manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of security solutions to ensure service levels and compliance with SLAs.

Hardware and Software Troubleshooting:

- Provide technical support for server-related hardware and software issues, including diagnosing and resolving network infrastructure malfunctions.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on workstations, servers, and communication systems as needed.

Documentation and Process Management:

- Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database management, security policies, procedures, and system logs.
- Ensure that all technical and operational procedures are documented and compliant with regulatory standards.

Network Monitoring and Optimization:

- Continuously monitor the performance of networks, servers, and systems, ensuring they are running optimally.
- Recommend improvements to network configurations, performance enhancements, and security measures.

Future Network Growth Planning:

- Assess current network infrastructure and suggest upgrades or new technologies to support future growth.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of additional servers and network systems as required to meet organizational demands.

Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity)

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ICT security, database management, or a similar role.

Strong experience in network security, backup systems, disaster recovery, and database administration.
