**The Role**:
The Operations and Maintenance Supervisor is a site-based role that will showcase your leadership capability, alongside technical expertise in asset operations and maintenance. Demonstrating safe, efficient operation and maintenance practices of Shoalhaven Hydro Power Scheme you will work towards maximising flexible, safe and reliable production of renewable energy. The position is part of a small multi-skilled team operating in a dynamic environment.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead a team to operate and maintain the plant as required in a safe and reliable manner
- Implementation, review and execution of equipment strategies, O&M plans and support inventory optimisation
- Actively contributing as an integral part of the Power Station Team
- Managing and working with contractors
- Provide standby services outside of normal working hours

**Is This You?**

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and an excellent safety-first problem-solving mindset. You will also be a solid communicator (both electronic & verbal) with experience working within a multidisciplined team.

Additionally, to be shortlisted you will have:

- Exceptional and demonstrable people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture as a team leader.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade level qualifications with considerable post trade and / or equivalent power station or similar external heavy industry experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving, fault-finding skills and experience
- Willingness to perform standby and call in duties
- Experience with computerised enterprise Management of Work Systems (SAP preferred)
- Willingness to perform standby and call in duties
- Experience with Computers and MS Office software
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in the SAP environment.
- Project Management experience.
- Management of Change experience.
- Continuous improvement skills and experience
- Diploma in Engineering - similar qualification, or greater
- Experience with Permit to work systems
