**About the Role**

Reporting to the Specialist Manager, the Assistant Specialist Manager is an integral part of the broader Distribution Centre team. This role focuses on delivering tailored, customer-centric solutions for specialist products, drawing on our expertise in equipment to meet and exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with other Specialist Managers and their teams may be required to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front desk and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Coordinating with the transport team to guarantee timely delivery and collection of equipment for customers.
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure equipment is maintained, serviced, and ready for customer use.
- Supporting other specialist areas within the state by facilitating equipment transfers between locations to maximise utilisation.
- Maintaining strict asset security at all times.
- Following directions and completing tasks as assigned by Branch and Area Management.
- Supervising and delegating daily duties to team members, ensuring all tasks are carried out to Kennards Hire’s standards.

**About you**

- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
- Previous experience within a retail sales / leadership role from the trade or hardware industry - highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and tech savvy
- Strong team player and a commitment to safety
