**The Austin Health Foundation has an opportunity to join our energetic and committed team. **Reporting to the Director, the Project Officer - ACTER
** **will support the development of the Australian Centre for Transplant Excellence and Research (ACTER) at Austin Health. ACTER is a strategically significant initiative for Austin Health, and will be a major centre of knowledge, education, advocacy, research and innovation in transplant care.
**The Project Officer plays **a key role in influencing the capacity of the Austin Health Foundation team to deliver and administer transformational philanthropy. The position supports
** **senior stakeholders with project initiation and implementation planning, as well as project monitoring and reporting associated with the ACTER project.
The position works with internal stakeholders, such as fundraisers and senior medical and hospital professionals, to develop complex proposals and briefings, and to facilitate effective communication and collaboration that ensures good stewardship of philanthropic gifts. The role also liaises with key external stakeholders, particularly major donors, and those in government and community, the transplant sector, universities and research institutes, and other healthcare providers.
**This position is ideal for **a highly organised and skilled projects professional who is passionate about working on transformational projects in healthcare.
