Regional Sales Respresentative

Wine by Sam, is an urban winery located in the township of Seymour, 70 minutes from Melbourne and within walking distance of public transport. We are seeking an experienced wine sales representative for Regional Victoria. The role will involve daily travel and will suit a wine enthusiast who has the ability to work autonomously. We are looking for an energetic individual who loves our wines as much as we do.

The territory is made up of independent retailers, licensed grocers, hotels, and on premise customers throughout Central and Northern Victoria.

Remuneration will be reflective of skills and experience, in addition to salary is a generous wine allowance. Terms and conditions are in accordance with the National Employment Standards and the Wine Industry Award, (MA000090).

Job Requirements

Duties will include:

- Representing Wine by Sam and its brands
- Daily sales activity in order to achieve budgeted sales targets.
- Identifying, managing and growing customer base
- Sales support activities, which may include events after hours such as in store tastings
- Providing monthly sales reports

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Some experience in the wine industry, a demonstrated knowledge of, or a passion for wine, example WSET level 2 or 3.
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
