Location: Canberra or Sydney or Melbourne - hybrid/WFH

**The role**:
Our client needs an Economist to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.

Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

**Experience needed**:

- Qualifications in economics, econometrics or finance
- Applied economic policy experience
- Highly developed conceptual and analytical ability
- Excel skills. SAS, R or other statistical analysis tools
- Understanding of market regulation principles and best practice
- Experience with economic contribution analysis desirable
