We have a new and exciting opportunity for an **Entry Level Programs Manager** based at our Perth Office on a permanent full-time basis. We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee and enhance our Entry Level Programs (ELP) including Apprentices, Graduates, and Trainees. This role will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the program across multiple regions across Western Power.

**About this role**

Some of the additional key responsibilities of this role include:

- Provide high-level leadership and direction to the Technical Apprentice Specialists and apprenticeship program across multiple regions.
- Shape the long-term strategy for the apprenticeship program, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and workforce needs.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of apprenticeship programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Act as the primary ambassador for the apprenticeship program, representing the organization at industry events, forums, and conferences.
- Lead communications with unions, regulatory authorities, and vocational institutions to ensure programs meet legal and compliance standards.
- Lead the use of performance metrics to measure the success and impact of the program.
- Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes, including performance, retention, and completion rates, presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Manage the relationship with Australian Apprentice Support Network (AASN) to ensure apprentice program compliance/standards are maintained and remain informed of any changes/reforms.

**About you**

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

- Deep expertise in leading Apprenticeship and Entry Level Programs or related early career programs across a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge in Federal and State apprenticeship support, compliance, and funding models.
- Previous leadership of a team of experienced technical experts in either an operational or project setting.
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills with demonstrated success in building strong working relationships at all levels within an organisation.
- Strategic thinking skills with a highly developed ability to practically drive strategic business outcomes.
- Willingness to occasionally travel away from home location.
- Computer literate: Ellipse, MS Office suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
- Relevant and current trade-based qualification in a discipline such as - Electrical Fitter / Mechanic Certificate 3, Trade Certificate or Distribution / Transmission Overhead or Certificate 3 Distribution Cable Jointer or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or industry or tertiary qualification in training and assessment - essential
