Principal Project Officer

The key functions of the Olympic and Paralympic Infrastructure Office:
- Leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (Brisbane 2032) Master Plan
- Leading and managing the delivery of infrastructure projects identified in the Masterplan including competition venues, non-competition venues, training venues, athlete villages, transport, and Olympic precincts. Developing business cases and venue validation reports to support the Queensland Government and Federal Government investment into projects identified in the Masterplan. Establishing program management functions including, report, project assurance, budget control, risk and issue management
- Acting as project sponsor and provide strategic direction and oversight of agencies' capital planning, delivery and reporting related to Olympic Masterplan projects
- Support the development and implementation of an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Commonwealth Government for 50/50 funding of Olympic infrastructure, and
- Coordination, consultation and collaboration with state agencies, local governments, the Australian Government, the Australian Olympic Committees, the International Organising Committee, the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (OCOG) and other Games partners is critical to the success of the office.
