**Description**:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This pivotal role within our Health & Aged Care Services team will oversee and coordinate the admissions process ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service for residents and their families. Your focus will be on creating a positive experience for all stakeholders whilst driving occupancy levels. This is a full time position, working closely with our Admissions Nurse.
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Monitor and respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents and their families.
- Maintain an up to date resident waitlist database ensuring accuracy and reliability along with a current list of available rooms.
- Preparation of contracts and resident files.
- Develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the admissions process and to optimise care centre occupancy.
- Follow up on outstanding RAD and DAP payments to ensure financial targets are met.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience working in a high level Coordinator role.
- Previous experience working in aged care (or related sector) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of Commonwealth and State Funding structures in relation to aged care accommodation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, generate and implement innovation and improvement.
- Excellent communications skills to liaise confidently with residents, families and SwanCare’s clinical teams.
- Commitment to superior customer service.
- Highly developed organisational skills.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Working rights within Australia.
- National Police Clearance.
