About the Role:
We are currently searching for two Admission Advisors to join our fast-paced and dynamic team of superstars on a full time, permanent basis. As an Admission Advisor, you will undertake the evaluation and assessment of applications for Admission and Recognition of Prior Learning. You can look forward to working amongst a driven and close-knit team, supporting applicants gain entry into their desired course or pathway solution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate applications for entry to courses offered by the University.
- Assess national and overseas qualifications in line with University policies.
- Maintain knowledge and provide advice on course entry requirements, credit for prior learning and pathway courses for applicants who not yet qualify for admission into their desired course.
- Provide a customer focused, quality evaluation and advisory service to all stakeholders on Admission requirements.
- Undertake projects required to maintain and improve pathways, our application systems and processes.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use sound judgement to determine appropriate outcomes and actions.
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships across diverse teams and levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally convey information and prepare accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in undergraduate and postgraduate admissions (desirable).
Role Requirements:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
- Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours when required.
