**You will be required to provide quality customer service whilst supporting the Senior Supervisor in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Parliament Cafeteria and Coffee shop.

The Opportunity

Queensland Parliamentary Services are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Full-time Supervisor for our onsite Café, ensuring exceptional customer service to deliver outstanding experiences for our Member's and guests.

Your day-to-day:
Supervise the team in the day-to-day delivery of food and barista coffee services.
Daily opening and/or closing of the outlets in line with operating procedures.
Sandwich Bar food preparation.
Stock ordering.
Liaise with internal/external stakeholders as required.
Oversee catering staff training and adherence to high service standards.
Monitor the cost and budget targets to ensure they are controlled.

The supervision and co-ordination of staff in a fast paced, high-volume cafe/coffee shop
Excellent coffee knowledge and coffee service skills.
Proven experience of organisational skills, including demonstrated effectiveness in prioritising work and client demands.
Experience of conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of general catering practices including food preparation, presentation and storage, client service and inventory control.
Adherence to health, safety, and food regulations.
Holds RSA and Food Handler certifications.
