We are seeking a highly inquisitive individual who is looking for exciting and challenging work, to join our Fraud Prevention and Internal Investigations (FPII) team.

As a **Criminal Investigation Officer** in our ATO Corporate business area, you’ll analyse, assess and investigate allegations of fraud, corruption, tax-related offences, serious misconduct and criminal activity by ATO employees. Through the interrogation of ATO and other Commonwealth databases, you’ll gather information, report your findings on the outcome of investigations and compile criminal Briefs of Evidence.
You will work on joint investigations with our partner agencies including the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and State Law Enforcement Agencies.

You will drive a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement through self-development, training and mentoring.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Canberra or Melbourne CBD**.
