Continental Steel is an ambitious structural steel fabricator specialising in heavy steel construction and metallic structural works industry, based in the Southeast Suburbs of Melbourne.

We service all construction sectors such as residential, commercial & industrial (single and multilevel buildings, schools, hospitals, warehouses, car parks, offices, pavilions for exhibitions and fairs), as well as port plants, airport terminal and hangars, petrochemical plants and mining.

- Demonstrate experience in most of welding codes/procedures.
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely.
- **Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications (must)**
- Ability to use hand & power tools for setting up grinding, cutting, welding, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steel.
- Co-ordinate and work in a team environment and perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner with good communication skills.
- Maintain and use equipment as designed.
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements.
- Positive attitude and keen to improve personally and in the work environment.
- Your duties may also include other reasonable tasks set down from time to time.

**Company offers also training program**:
In house Training program equivalent to Certificate III Engineering
- Fabrication.

**What we can offer**:
**Hourly base rate c**ompensation will be determined and based on experience.
- Salary package to match the experience. Ordinary hours are 40 hours per week.

Morning shift 5am to 1:30pm afternoon shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

**Salary**: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
