**About you**

As a Strategy Manager, a few key responsibilities of this position will be to facilitate and shape the strategic plan for the Guild Insurance business by:

- Undertaking analysis to identifying trends, themes and catalysts within core and emerging markets.
- Manage the annual strategic plan and budget planning process including identification of risks.
- Engaging SMEs across the organisation to develop insights and initiatives that deliver on that strategic plan and inform the budget in terms of costs and benefits.
- Acting as a trusted strategic advisor and thought leader to the business and support other business units with their needs within the strategic domain.

To manage and support key strategic initiatives, by:

- Conduct financial modelling and develop business cases for initiatives.
- Develop project plans and benefits realisation plans.
- Support PIRs and continuous improvement efforts across the business.
- Key linking and collaboration role across cross business units and shared services, especially technology and finance.

Regulatory & Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory regimes, including completion of all mandatory compliance training within defined timelines.
- Undertake all work to the standard required, adhering to key policies, procedures and role authorities.
- Adhere to the ‘no surprises’ rule through timely and transparent disclosure to Leader and/or other relevant Managers of mistakes and/or things that go wrong, or policies, deadlines & commitments that may not be met. Where applicable, take or assist with identification of remedial action.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards related to insurance and actuarial practices.
