The 3D Chromatin Organisation Laboratory is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Research Coordinator with strong integrity, well-developed problem-solving skills to join our growing team to meaningfully contribute to cutting-edge cancer research.

The 3D Chromatin Organisation Laboratory is embedded within the Resistance Prevention Program at the South Australian immunoGENomics Institute (SAiGENCI); an independent institute within the Adelaide University and in alliance with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN).

As the Research Coordinator, you will work under general direction, both independently and as part of a team. You will contribute to high-impact epigenetic cancer research by planning, performing, and analysing data for a variety of wet laboratory experiments, while contributing to general laboratory housekeeping for the 3D Chromatin Organisation Laboratory, to ensure grant milestones are achieved within a timely manner.

** To be successful you will need**:

- Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including but not limited to cell/tissue culture; gene and protein expression techniques, and generation of engineered cell/tissue cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, troubleshoot, optimise, and share new techniques in the laboratory, with a meticulous approach to experimental work, data collection, and interpretation, and well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.
- Well-developed oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to share research progress in team meetings, have the confidence to discuss potential problems as they arise, and have excellent active listening skills.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills to coordinate and provide logístical support to lab members as needed, and balance competing demands from multiple projects without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of and compliance with policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Wellbeing, as well as biosafety requirements.
