**The Role**
The Integrity Capability and Engagement team is responsible for activities to support collaboration across government agencies to protect the integrity of government payments. The team is also responsible for supporting the building of payment integrity capability within the early childhood education and care sector through engagement activities and the delivery of a learning management system.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to assist in cross-agency payment integrity activities to support ongoing financial integrity and payment accuracy of the Child Care Subsidy. Our work focuses on collaborating with and leveraging information across government agencies to manage integrity risks, support evidence-based policy and implementation of integrity tools and practices that will improve payment integrity of the Child Care Subsidy.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS 5 Strategy Officer may include (but not be limited to):

- Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant policies and frameworks and undertake research with a particular focus on whole of government payment integrity and fraud risk.
- Undertake analysis of data and activities to support information requests from other agencies.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders including internal operational, technical and legal teams, and other external government agencies.
- Draft, prepare and disseminate a range of documents, including briefings, agenda papers and other ad-hoc correspondence to convey complex ideas with simplicity.
- Contribute to planning, delivery, risk and issue management and progress reporting.
