**Designer / Content Creator with US Beauty Startup (Sydney-Based) (Contract)**
**Part-time & Flexible Hours**

**Hours**: 1 day per week, with room to expand

**Location**: ½ Remote + ½ in office in Pyrmont

**Day rate**: $300 (8 hour work day)

**About the role**:
Help an early-stage US beauty startup plan and execute its next stage of growth. Versine is a New York-based business but the management team is currently based in Sydney.

Your principal focus will be digital content creation and digital design that are innovative and arresting, while fitting within the boundaries of the brand. You will be the lead creative on the team and will be responsible for driving a cohesive and interesting visual strategy, as well as its execution.

**Job activities**:

- In general, make things beautiful and inspiring.
- Specifically,Develop a cohesive visual identity for Versine online (website, Instagram, Tik Tok).
- Execute on that visual identity by: Creating brand visual rulebook for company and creators.
- Improving website design.
- Shooting and editing static and video content.
- Work with and direct digital creators, models, marketing professionals to implement strategy.
- Speed - constant and consistent content is key in today’s retail environment. We are looking for a steady stream of content, not one perfect video per week.

- Familiar with major social media platforms FB, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
- Adept with graphic design and video editing tools.
- Willing to problem solve, pivot and execute, when faced with initial obstacles. Looking for someone optimistic who recognizes that the path to success isn’t a straight line, and there are many ways to solve a problem.
- Team player with experience guiding social media manager and digital content creators to conform to visual identity.

**Nice to have**:

- Excited about skincare.
- Strong writing skills.
- Experience with lifestyle or beauty CPG or communities.
- Understand basic marketing concepts.

**Work details**:
Applicants must be Sydney-based and have an ABN or be willing to set one up. Work relationship is contract to a US-based company. I.e., you will send weekly or monthly invoices for your work (with immediate payment), denominated in Australian dollars.

Versine will provide access to software tools and subscriptions, if needed, but as a contractor you will need to bring your own laptop and phone, standard video and photography equipment, and maintain your own remote work space. Versine will provide meeting spaces for in-person meetings in Sydney CBD or Pyrmont. Versine can provide additional job-specific items or resources as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Temp to perm, Contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $300.00 per day
