**About the role**:
In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new, state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in NSW. Harnessing the latest technology, this site will offer a wider range to our customers and a safer environment for our staff.
As this site ramps up, we have opportunities for 4 experienced Training Specialists to join the team on 12 month full time contracts.
**What you’ll be doing**:
In partnership with the Training Manager and the site training team, you will support with the implementation of a detailed ramp training plan, ensuring all team members are empowered through a combination of mandatory and optional task training programs.
These new roles will take a lead in the delivery of training and assessment to our operations team members and our drivers across three shift patterns (AM, PM and night shift) throughout the ramp period and into the new year.
Other ways you can make an impact include:
- Work collaboratively to facilitate training and assessment
- Support shift leaders with their training responsibilities
- Keep accurate training records
- Support with coordination and delivery of all site induction programs and ensure that all new team members are compliant with all aspects of their training
- Continually monitor and provide feedback on our new training materials, accounting for seasonal activities
- Be a champion for safety on site, safety on roads and drive a positive culture for team members
- Be a representative for people and culture on site including team engagement, recognition and reward
***Good things you’ll need**:
We’re looking trainers who have a passion for coaching and developing team members, who can deliver important training materials in an engaging way. To be considered for one of these contract roles,
it is essential you have:

- Experience with delivering and assessing training is essential
- A strong background and experience ideally in Supply Chain, Retail and / or Driver training (C or MR class)
- Demonstrated experience in delivering training and assessing to a broad audience with different learning abilities
It will be highly regarded if you have:
- Have a high level of time management, collaboration and organisational skills with a focus on planning, ensuring key deadlines are met
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, being able to manage expectations of senior management
- Advanced computer and facilitation skills
With us it’s not about the discounts (although you do get those), it’s about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is our investment and celebrating your contributions is the norm. And because everyone leads unique lives, we offer flexible work, additional leave and parental leave entitlements.
