**Your opportunity**: Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of teaching staff, developing collegiality, building a learning and development culture, modelling innovative teaching styles and encouraging appropriate professional development.Lead the development, implementation and review of engagement, wellbeing and academic strategies in targeted programs.Assume a lead role within school and regional teams with the development and implementation of strategies relating to targets relevant to each school and Positive Learning Centre location. **How you will be assessed**: Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key attributes: 1. Capacity to lead, and model pedagogical reform and/or development activities at a school or cluster level that will result in improved targeted outcomes. 2. Demonstrated knowledge and ability in the relevant areas of coaching and student support. 3. Demonstrated capacity to develop and sustain strong interpersonal relationships and establish productive partnerships fundamental to coaching and the delivery of professional development activities. 4. Capacity to lead strategies to maximise student engagement and achievement through a coaching model with staff. A mandatory requirement of this role is full registration or eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland. **Teaching in Queensland**: The department is responsible for the delivery of quality education services to all Queensland students in state schools and recognises teachers and their commitment to teaching through a range of rewards and benefits.
